Douglas Wallace I love this ep! It beats the shit out of you while telling you it loves you. It's raw, dirty and beautiful. Favorite track: Passionate Fools.

Alden Their new direction works so well. Poison seeds does not fuck around and straight up hits you with a brick of sludgey tones and follows up with songs like VI and L’appel du Vide that bring up some dreamy atmosphere, it feels so surreal how it eases you in slowly, and then all it once. A perfect set up for Passionate Fool, which leads back into some really heavy vocal attacks and sludgey tones, and turns the dreamy tones into more of a nightmares soundtrack. Fitting for a band called Mother Moon. Favorite track: Poison Seeds.

Track Name: Poison Seeds
I watched
As the curse slipped from your tongue to mine
A curse of uncertainty
Coated with regret
A poison so potent
God couldn't cure
The stain of lies
From my heart

Taint the wound you left
Poison me, poison me
Spread among my flesh
Defile me, defile me

Your poison lies
In the seed of our garden
You consume
You assume
My mind, my body, and more
You own it all
Everything is yours

Taint the wound you left
Poison me, poison me
Spread among my flesh
Defile me, defile me
Track Name: Passionate Fools
As cold grips his throat
Silence takes over
All confidence bound and gagged
Colossal pressure; vagrant thoughts
No air to breathe
No light to see

Nourishing the repetition
Familial bonds that inevitably break
A name that holds no pride
No dignity
Just mistakes that plague our race

If you think you're any better now
You've been told wrong
Get that notion out your head
You belong with us
In our manifesto of
These passionate fools

How can you light a fire without a spark
The same way you can't see a change without a start
Spoiled with ignorance
Gifted with love
For the things that allow the taint in your blood

Nourishing the repetition
Familial bonds that have long since cracked
A name that holds no pride
No dignity
Just mistakes that plague our race

If you think you're any better now
You've been told wrong
Get that notion out your head
You belong with us
In our manifesto of
These passionate fools
